Google is now able to show your businesses address in multiple languages within Google Maps and in the Google local search results. Google previously only displayed addresses into the translated language of the user but now show the user’s local language as well as the exact address. While this may not be relevant for many businesses, for those in travel and hospitality, it will help their clients verify that the address they plan around and navigate with will always be accurate.
When a user attempts to edit a listing, they are also now given the option to change address and businesses name in each of the languages they see listed. This change should allow hotels to better serve their clients from around the world, ensuring their information is accurate in each relevant language and each relevant alphabet compared to the signage surrounding their locations.
