Marissa grew up in Rochester, NY until moving to Salt Lake City, Utah to continue her education. She graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and a minor in Political Science. Ever since she was young, Marissa has been fascinated by the media and news and dreamed of being a national news anchor.
Outside of work, Marissa enjoys traveling and taking solo vacations, including driving across the United States four times by herself. However, she spends most of her time now with her husband and young son, Teddy.
