Norm joined DAC in 1996 as president of DAC Canada. He became CEO and Managing Partner in 2000, by which time he had already begun to reposition the agency for the digital age. Foreseeing the economic shift digital presented to brands, marketers and businesses alike, Norm spearheaded DAC’s investment in technology — including the creation of proprietary tools — and focused on attracting highly talented professionals in digital marketing and media, transforming DAC into a full-service digital performance agency.
In his tenure, Norm has mentored the agency through a significant period of evolution in which the company added sophisticated capabilities in search marketing lead generation, specializing in fully-integrated geo-local marketing solutions. Norm advocates the agency’s long-standing values of E2 + C2(enthusiasm, execution, courage and curiosity), which remain integral to the team’s unrelenting commitment to excellence. As DAC expands into marketing science and analytics, Norm’s most recent passion is for finding “geeks with personalities”; those talented professionals who have a story to tell and a love affair with nerdy data.
Prior to joining DAC, Norm worked with some of the largest companies in North America, such as Pepsi Cola, J. Walter Thompson, and Scott’s Hospitality.
