DAC x Groupe Marie Claire

DAC Montréal announces a strategic collaboration with the Groupe Marie Claire to boost its local presence management and the reputation of its brands.

Groupe Marie Claire, a major group recognized for its iconic brands such as San Francisco, Claire France, Grenier, Dans un jardin, Marie Claire and Livøm, has teamed up with DAC to improve its customer experience and search engine presence by optimizing its online presence for nearly 300 stores.

The objective is to reinforce the brands’ visibility and interaction on the arcoss digital platforms, ensuring a seamless and enhanced customer experience. This initiative will include customized strategies for local SEO, online review management, and the development of innovative marketing tactics customized for each brand by DAC on an ongoing basis. As well as, the optimization of all stores’ Google listings, including the implementation of Google Post, automated review responses, and social sentiment analysis. This partnership will supported, among other things, by DAC proprietary local presence management tool, TransparenSEE.

“The collaboration between Groupe Marie Claire and DAC marks a significant milestone for our local presence. With nearly 300 stores, we have often postponed updating and effectively managing this presence in our strategic planning. However, as we finally recognize its crucial role, we begin this collaboration with great excitement. Their expertise and tools will enable us to implement what will become one of our key drive-to-store strategies for the current year.” – Martin Bertrand, E-commerce Director, Groupe Marie-Claire

“I’m delighted that Martin and his team have accepted this partnership. We’ll have the chance to improve the customer experience and give these brands greater visibility. DAC offers a turnkey service, so with the lack of resources and the multitude of communication channels to manage as a retailer, it becomes unthinkable to be 100% good at everything. Groupe Marie Claire will be supported on a daily basis by our team of digital and local SEO specialists to support each store as if they were an individual brand. With my 20 years’ experience on the retail side, I can easily see how DAC services can complement marketing teams at retailers, and I’m glad Martin has put his trust in us.” – Fanny Mooijekind, General Manager, DAC Montreal.

Under the direction of the second generation, Sylvain, Martin and Stéphanie Lafrance, the company employs over 1,500 people and relies on local production.
