DAC donates IT equipment to The ERA of Montreal to support eco initiative
DAC is a long-standing partner of The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA). We are proud to donate our lightly used IT equipment to The ERA to be refurbished donated to charities and less fortunate individuals. These efforts are not possible without the donations from organizations like DAC.
DAC is committed to being a great global steward for our community and the world. We’ve chosen to make better choices which include donating our old equipment, investing in green funds, making carbon offsetting donations, and relocating our offices to more environmentally friendly spaces.
Therefore, DAC donated the following pieces of equipment to The ERA in Montreal: 10 laptops, 15 docking stations, 7 monitors, but also wi-fi router, projectors, battery backups, switches and Assortment of cables.
About the ERA
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 to address the growing problem of e-waste. ERA helps individuals and organizations to effectively manage their retiring electronics, in order to prevent operational equipment from premature destruction. For this, ERA collects old electronics devices, refurbishes them and donate to charities, across Canada and the US.
