Mais dans quelle mesure cela refl\u00e8te-t-il vraiment la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si cette id\u00e9e a pris autant d\u2019ampleur, ce n\u2019est pas parce qu\u2019elle est enti\u00e8rement juste, mais parce qu\u2019elle est partielle. Oui, la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z utilise TikTok, YouTube Shorts et d\u2019autres plateformes sociales pour d\u00e9couvrir du contenu, mais croire qu\u2019elle a d\u00e9finitivement tourn\u00e9 le dos \u00e0 Google est une erreur strat\u00e9gique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lors du sommet annuel interne de DAC, Chris Loschiavo, Strategic Agency Manager chez Google et YouTube, a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 (donn\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019appui) que la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z ne d\u00e9laisse pas les moteurs de recherche. Au contraire, elle en red\u00e9finit l\u2019usage et, sur bien des aspects, elle s\u2019y engage plus que toute autre g\u00e9n\u00e9ration avant elle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voici les points cl\u00e9s de son intervention et ce qu\u2019ils signifient pour les professionnels du marketing qui cherchent \u00e0 toucher ce public dynamique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Le comportement de recherche de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019id\u00e9e selon laquelle la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z serait absente de la recherche Google ne r\u00e9siste pas \u00e0 l\u2019analyse des donn\u00e9es. Selon Chris, l\u2019\u00e9mergence de l\u2019IA g\u00e9n\u00e9rative et de nouvelles fonctionnalit\u00e9s comme les aper\u00e7us IA ou les outils de recherche visuelle pousse les utilisateurs \u00e0 poser des questions plus complexes et \u00e0 explorer l\u2019information diff\u00e9remment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il souligne d\u2019ailleurs que 15 % des recherches effectu\u00e9es chaque jour sur Google sont enti\u00e8rement nouvelles. Et ces nouvelles fonctionnalit\u00e9s re\u00e7oivent un accueil tr\u00e8s positif, notamment de la part des jeunes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations, qui les trouvent plus utiles et plus satisfaisantes. Ce nouveau format r\u00e9pond parfaitement aux attentes de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z : clart\u00e9, rapidit\u00e9, pertinence. Plut\u00f4t que d\u2019ouvrir plusieurs onglets, ils pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent une r\u00e9ponse unique, structur\u00e9e, qui rassemble l\u2019essentiel. Chris observe d\u2019ailleurs que les utilisateurs qui interagissent avec les aper\u00e7us IA ont tendance \u00e0 poursuivre leurs recherches, \u00e0 consulter une plus grande vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de sites et \u00e0 y passer plus de temps. Cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration utilise m\u00eame davantage la recherche : <a href=\"https:\/\/business.google.com\/us\/think\/search-and-video\/google-search-innovations\/\">les utilisateurs connect\u00e9s \u00e2g\u00e9s de 18 \u00e0 24 ans effectuent plus de requ\u00eates quotidiennes que tous les autres groupes d\u2019\u00e2ge<\/a>. Et selon une \u00e9tude IPSOS, 84 % des jeunes Canadiens de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z utilisent Google et\/ou YouTube chaque jour. Ces chiffres r\u00e9v\u00e8lent une g\u00e9n\u00e9ration profond\u00e9ment investie dans l\u2019exploration et l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation de nouvelles fa\u00e7ons de rechercher l\u2019information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les marketeurs qui s\u2019appuient encore sur des id\u00e9es d\u00e9pass\u00e9es risquent de passer \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9. La g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z ne s\u2019\u00e9loigne pas de la recherche : elle y engage de nouvelles pratiques qui demandent des strat\u00e9gies plus souples et nuanc\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. La recherche visuelle : leur langage naturel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u2019il y a un domaine o\u00f9 la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z transforme r\u00e9ellement les usages, c\u2019est dans le passage des requ\u00eates textuelles \u00e0 une exploration visuelle. Chris indique que la recherche visuelle est aujourd\u2019hui le mode de recherche qui conna\u00eet la croissance la plus rapide sur Google, avec plus de 20 milliards de requ\u00eates chaque mois via Google Lens. Ce n\u2019est pas une mode, mais une \u00e9volution profonde de la mani\u00e8re dont les individus acc\u00e8dent \u00e0 l\u2019information : plus visuelle, plus mobile, plus instantan\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Des outils comme Google Lens ou Circle to Search permettent d\u00e9sormais de lancer une recherche \u00e0 partir de ce que l\u2019on voit, que ce soit une capture d\u2019\u00e9cran sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux ou une photo prise sur le vif. Et ce comportement d\u00e9passe largement le simple rep\u00e9rage visuel : une recherche sur quatre effectu\u00e9e avec Lens pr\u00e9sente une intention commerciale, ce qui montre que la recherche visuelle joue un r\u00f4le concret dans les parcours d\u2019achat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La recherche visuelle n\u2019est donc pas un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne passager, mais une nouvelle fa\u00e7on pour les jeunes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations d\u2019acc\u00e9der \u00e0 l\u2019information. Si votre strat\u00e9gie marketing repose encore uniquement sur des mots-cl\u00e9s et pr\u00e9sume une intention de recherche explicite d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part, vous risquez d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u2019\u00eatre en retard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce changement est particuli\u00e8rement marqu\u00e9 chez la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z. <a href=\"https:\/\/business.google.com\/us\/think\/search-and-video\/google-search-innovations\/\">Ce sont principalement ces jeunes utilisateurs<\/a> qui alimentent la croissance de la recherche visuelle. Selon Chris, leur comportement sur YouTube r\u00e9v\u00e8le une approche bien plus r\u00e9fl\u00e9chie. Certes, ils d\u00e9filent rapidement et consomment des contenus courts et dynamiques, notamment via YouTube Shorts. Mais ils font preuve d\u2019une vraie intention dans leur mani\u00e8re de rechercher et d\u2019\u00e9valuer l\u2019information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chris pr\u00e9cise que la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z est surrepr\u00e9sent\u00e9e sur Shorts, le format vid\u00e9o court de Google qui enregistre d\u00e9sormais 70 milliards de vues par jour. Et <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/products\/ads-commerce\/youtube-brand-engagement-shorts-creators\/\">selon une \u00e9tude de Morgan Stanley AlphaWise<\/a>, 40 % des utilisateurs de YouTube Shorts n\u2019utilisent ni Instagram Reels ni TikTok, ce qui fait de Shorts un canal cl\u00e9 pour atteindre cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration l\u00e0 o\u00f9 d\u2019autres \u00e9chouent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En parall\u00e8le, cette m\u00eame g\u00e9n\u00e9ration consomme aussi du contenu long d\u00e8s que le sujet l\u2019int\u00e9resse. Qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse de tutoriels DIY ou de vid\u00e9os d\u2019experts, la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z va chercher de la profondeur lorsque cela correspond \u00e0 ses besoins. Elle peut d\u00e9couvrir un sujet via une vid\u00e9o courte, puis encha\u00eener avec un contenu de 20 minutes pour en apprendre davantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour les marketeurs, cela signifie qu\u2019il faut savoir \u00e9quilibrer rapidit\u00e9 et substance. La g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z peut faire d\u00e9filer vite, mais elle choisit avec s\u00e9rieux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce que r\u00e9v\u00e8le la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z, c\u2019est une red\u00e9finition m\u00eame de la notion de recherche. Elle fusionne formats, canaux et intentions d\u2019une mani\u00e8re qui remet en question les approches marketing traditionnelles.
