De <em>The Atlantic<\/em> \u00e0 <em>The New Yorker<\/em> \u00e0 <em>The Economist<\/em>, les articles audios sont devenus omnipr\u00e9sents.<\/p>\n<p>Contrairement aux podcasts, qui n\u00e9cessitent une strat\u00e9gie de contenu, des ressources de production et un plan de distribution, les articles audios prennent les contenus existants et les convertissent en fichiers audio jouables qui sont servis aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de leurs homologues \u00e9crits.<\/p>\n<p>Mais l&#8217;ajout d&#8217;un autre format dans le paysage des contenus surcharg\u00e9s va-t-il vraiment am\u00e9liorer l&#8217;engagement ? \u00c0 une \u00e9poque o\u00f9 nous consommons plus de contenu que jamais, ajouter de l&#8217;audio dans le mixage peut sembler ajouter du d\u00e9sordre dans une salle d\u00e9j\u00e0 bond\u00e9e. Et pourtant, les faits montrent le contraire. Selon Megan Leap, directrice du contenu chez Convince &#038;amp ; Convert, les articles audios ont permis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.convinceandconvert.com\/content-marketing\/how-we-increased-time-on-site-with-audio-articles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">d&#8217;augmenter le temps de pr\u00e9sence sur le site de quatre \u00e0 neuf minutes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Confort mains libres<\/h2>\n<p>Avec une surabondance de contenus disponibles en ligne, le public n&#8217;a plus \u00e0 se battre pour trouver les contenus qu&#8217;il veut consommer. Ils ont plut\u00f4t du mal \u00e0 trouver le temps de s&#8217;y int\u00e9resser. <a href=\"https:\/\/speechkit.io\/\">SpeechKit<\/a>, une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de technologie qui permet aux \u00e9diteurs de nouvelles de convertir les lecteurs en auditeurs avec des articles audio, a constat\u00e9 que la commodit\u00e9 et la mobilit\u00e9 des \u00e9ditions audio servies en m\u00eame temps que les articles de nouvelles donnent aux lecteurs une toute nouvelle fa\u00e7on de s&#8217;engager avec le contenu qui compte pour eux. Les chiffres parlent d&#8217;eux-m\u00eames : SpeechKit a constat\u00e9 un temps d&#8217;\u00e9coute moyen de 3:44 par article, soit une augmentation de pr\u00e8s de <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/speechkit\/how-audio-is-increasing-engagement-with-digital-news-publishing-c6b0ceb445e3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">300% du temps d&#8217;engagement<\/a> par rapport au contenu traditionnel en texte seul.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-52185\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dacgroup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/headphones-at-work.jpg\" alt=\"Headphones at work\" width=\"652\" height=\"326\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 les attentes initiales selon lesquelles les articles audios seraient principalement consomm\u00e9s sur les t\u00e9l\u00e9phones portables, SpeechKit rapporte que <strong>plus de 40% de la consommation audio se fait sur les ordinateurs de bureau<\/strong>.
