Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7ue pour permettre aux utilisateurs d\u2019appareils Apple de limiter le suivi interappareils de leur activit\u00e9 num\u00e9rique. Alors que de plus en plus d\u2019utilisateurs craignent que les annonceurs suivent chacun de leurs d\u00e9placements et les reciblent avec des annonces, ITP est con\u00e7u pour donner aux utilisateurs plus de contr\u00f4le sur leur vie priv\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00c7a fonctionne comment\u2009?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Cela limite la dur\u00e9e de vie des cookies (t\u00e9moins) propri\u00e9taires d\u00e9finis par JavaScript. Apr\u00e8s un certain temps (auparavant 7 jours, maintenant 1 jour), le navigateur Safari am\u00e8nera \u00e0 expiration les cookies configur\u00e9s de cette mani\u00e8re (con\u00e7us pour cibler les scripts de suivi des publicit\u00e9s). Les cookies d\u00e9finis par une interaction c\u00f4t\u00e9 serveur (telle qu\u2019une connexion \u00e0 un site) ne seront pas affect\u00e9s.<\/li>\n<li>Les cookies tiers ne sont plus du tout accept\u00e9s par le navigateur Safari.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>En quoi cela affecte-t-il les campagnes publicitaires num\u00e9riques\u2009?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>L\u2019impossibilit\u00e9 de d\u00e9finir des cookies tiers signifie que les annonceurs ne sont pas en mesure de suivre explicitement les conversions \u00e0 l\u2019aide de la vue (viewthrough) dans Safari. Pour le contexte, une conversion \u00ab\u2009viewthrough\u2009\u00bb consiste \u00e0 exposer l\u2019internaute \u00e0 une annonce, et qu\u2019il ne clique pas dessus, mais visitera ult\u00e9rieurement le site de l\u2019annonceur et effectuera une action quelconque.<\/li>\n<li>La limite de temps pour les cookies propri\u00e9taires signifie que m\u00eame les conversions post-clic ne seront pas attribuables \u00e0 un clic sur un m\u00e9dia au-del\u00e0 d\u2019une fen\u00eatre de suivi de 24 heures. Si un utilisateur clique sur une annonce, n\u2019ach\u00e8te pas, mais retourne deux jours plus tard pour effectuer un achat sur le site, l\u2019annonceur aura des difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 \u00e9tablir le lien entre ces deux actions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qu\u2019a-t-on chang\u00e9 dans ITP 2.2\u2009?<\/h3>\n<p>Cette mise \u00e0 jour d\u2019ITP 2.2 apporte deux modifications majeures \u00e0 la version pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>R\u00e9duction de la limite de temps relative au suivi des cookies propri\u00e9taires de 7 jours \u00e0 24 heures.<\/li>\n<li>Limitation de certaines des solutions de contournement pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment mises en place par Facebook, Google et d\u2019autres soci\u00e9t\u00e9s, afin de permettre aux marketeurs de continuer \u00e0 effectuer le suivi apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9ploiement d\u2019ITP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ce sont les deux principales raisons pour lesquelles une mise \u00e0 jour (relativement) mineure provoque un tel tumulte parmi les professionnels du marketing.<\/p>\n<p>Ces modifications concernent uniquement les utilisateurs de Safari qui, en avril 2019, repr\u00e9sentaient environ 4% des ordinateurs de bureau et 26% des utilisateurs de mobiles, selon <a href=\"https:\/\/netmarketshare.com\/browser-market-share.aspx?options=%7B%22filter%22%3A%7B%22%24and%22%3A%5B%7B%22deviceType%22%3A%7B%22%24in%22%3A%5B%22Desktop%2Flaptop%22%5D%7D%7D%5D%7D%2C%22dateLabel%22%3A%22Trend%22%2C%22attributes%22%3A%22share%22%2C%22group%22%3A%22browser%22%2C%22sort%22%3A%7B%22share%22%3A-1%7D%2C%22id%22%3A%22browsersDesktop%22%2C%22dateInterval%22%3A%22Monthly%22%2C%22dateStart%22%3A%222018-05%22%2C%22dateEnd%22%3A%222019-04%22%2C%22segments%22%3A%22-1000%22%7D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NetMarketShare<\/a>. C\u2019est important, mais ce n\u2019est pas tout le monde.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, ce changement fait partie d\u2019une tendance plus large visant \u00e0 donner aux utilisateurs davantage de contr\u00f4le sur leurs donn\u00e9es personnelles, les pr\u00e9occupations en mati\u00e8re de confidentialit\u00e9 continuant de faire les gros titres. Il n\u2019est donc pas d\u00e9raisonnable de supposer que d\u2019autres navigateurs pourraient faire de m\u00eame.<\/p>\n<h2>Le ciel ne nous tombe pas sur la t\u00eate<\/h2>\n<p>L\u2019essentiel \u00e0 retenir est qu\u2019il n\u2019y a pas lieu de paniquer. Ces types de changements se produisent tout le temps dans le monde num\u00e9rique. L\u2019effet ici sera probablement moins grave que d\u2019autres modifications majeures affectant le suivi, comme lorsque Google a cess\u00e9 de fournir des donn\u00e9es de mots-cl\u00e9s pour les clics de recherche organique en 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Jenna Watson, vice-pr\u00e9sidente des m\u00e9dias num\u00e9riques chez DAC, donne ce conseil aux annonceurs :<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00ab\u2009Nous devons reconna\u00eetre que nous n\u2019aurons jamais un suivi \u00e0 100% du comportement et nous r\u00e9concilier avec cela. Sur Google Marketing Live cette semaine, m\u00eame Google a reconnu que nous nous \u00e9loignions du suivi parfait du parcours de l\u2019utilisateur. Le nombre d\u2019utilisateurs qui n\u2019acceptent pas les cookies ou qui se sont retir\u00e9s augmentera. Les marketeurs devront donc (encore une fois, comme nous le faisions auparavant\u2026) s\u2019appuyer sur des \u00e9l\u00e9ments tels que le contexte.\u2009\u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Ces changements font partie de l\u2019effort, en constante \u00e9volution, de bien faire les choses en mati\u00e8re de confidentialit\u00e9 des utilisateurs. Ce n\u2019est pas parce que nous POUVONS suivre quelque chose que nous DEVONS, comme <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2012\/02\/19\/magazine\/shopping-habits.html?pagewanted=1&amp;_r= 1 &amp; amp\u2009; hp\" target=\" _ blank \" rel=\"noopener\">les gens de Target l\u2019ont malencontreusement d\u00e9couvert<\/a> quand ils ont tent\u00e9 d\u2019utiliser les m\u00e9gadonn\u00e9es pour pr\u00e9dire la grossesse. Pass\u00e9 ou pr\u00e9sent, le fait d\u2019utiliser trop de donn\u00e9es clients ne sert qu\u2019\u00e0 effrayer ceux-l\u00e0 m\u00eames que nous essayons d\u2019atteindre.<\/p>\n<p>Le suivi des conversions interappareils et l\u2019attribution entre les canaux sont un moyen utile de suivre le succ\u00e8s des programmes multim\u00e9dias, mais ce n\u2019est certainement pas le seul outil de notre bo\u00eete \u00e0 outils. En tant que professionnels du marketing, nous avons toujours d\u00fb bien r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re dont nous ciblons et atteignons les internautes, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire avec des annonces pertinentes, sans \u00eatre effrayant, invasif ou g\u00eanant. L\u2019ITP n\u2019est pas diff\u00e9rent.
