Pero existe un gran problema del que casi nadie habla, y que podr\u00eda hacer que nuestras mejores herramientas de IA sean mucho menos efectivas, incluso in\u00fatiles. Este problema tiene un nombre t\u00e9cnico: <em><a href=\"https:\/\/jolt.law.harvard.edu\/digest\/model-collapse-and-the-right-to-uncontaminated-human-generated-data\">colapso de modelo<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es exactamente el colapso de modelo?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Imagina que tienes una fotograf\u00eda preciosa. Haces una copia con una fotocopiadora. La copia sale bien, casi perfecta. Ahora imagina que haces una copia de esa copia. Y luego otra, y otra m\u00e1s. La imagen pierde calidad progresivamente: se vuelve borrosa, los colores se distorsionan, etc. Despu\u00e9s de muchas copias, apenas se distingue la foto original.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eso es lo que est\u00e1 ocurriendo con la IA. De momento solo estamos en la quinta copia, as\u00ed que el efecto todav\u00eda no se nota, del todo&#8230; pero est\u00e1 ocurriendo, y algunos expertos dicen que es inevitable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los modelos de IA, como ChatGPT, aprenden leyendo enormes cantidades de informaci\u00f3n de internet. Al principio, todo ese contenido hab\u00eda sido creado por personas. Pero ahora, gran parte de la red est\u00e1 llena de material generado por otras IAs. Un estudio estim\u00f3 que aproximadamente el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com.au\/news\/innovation\/is-ai-quietly-killing-itself-and-the-internet\/\">57% de los textos en la web fueron creados o traducidos por una IA<\/a>. Ese dato es de hace un a\u00f1o, as\u00ed que probablemente hoy sea a\u00fan mayor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esto significa que los nuevos modelos de IA est\u00e1n aprendiendo a partir de las \u201ccopias\u201d creadas por modelos anteriores. Igual que con la foto, la calidad se degrada en cada nueva copia. La IA empieza a olvidar los detalles, comete errores. Eso es el <strong>colapso de modelo<\/strong>. Porque este problema afectar\u00e1 directamente a nuestro trabajo, y muy pronto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Primero<\/strong>, piensa en Google Search. Google ya utiliza IA para ofrecer respuestas directamente en la p\u00e1gina de resultados. Lo llama <em><a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/websearch\/answer\/14901683?hl=en\">AI Overviews<\/a><\/em>. Esta IA necesita informaci\u00f3n aut\u00e9ntica y precisa de la web para funcionar bien. Pero \u00bfqu\u00e9 pasa cuando la red est\u00e1 llena de contenido generado por IA de baja calidad? Las respuestas de <em>AI Overviews<\/em> empezar\u00e1n a ser err\u00f3neas, repetitivas y aburridas. La gente dejar\u00e1 de confiar en Google.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para los profesionales del marketing, esto es un problema enorme. Si la gente no encuentra nuestras webs, el tr\u00e1fico caer\u00e1. Los estudios ya muestran que cuando aparece una respuesta de IA, muy pocos usuarios hacen clic en los enlaces. Un an\u00e1lisis determin\u00f3 que un sitio puede perder hasta un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/technology\/2025\/jul\/24\/ai-summaries-causing-devastating-drop-in-online-news-audiences-study-finds\">79% de su tr\u00e1fico en una b\u00fasqueda si los resultados aparecen debajo de una respuesta de IA<\/a>. Es una amenaza seria para el SEO y el marketing de contenidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Segundo<\/strong>, en el caso de la publicidad digital. Muchos usamos la publicidad program\u00e1tica para mostrar nuestros anuncios al p\u00fablico adecuado. Pero la avalancha de contenido barato generado por IA ha creado miles de webs falsas, conocidas como <em>Made for Advertising<\/em> (MFA). Est\u00e1n llenas de art\u00edculos de mala calidad y una cantidad absurda de anuncios. Un informe revel\u00f3 que el <a href=\"https:\/\/digitalcontentnext.org\/blog\/2023\/06\/27\/programmatic-advertising-has-a-quality-problem\/\">15% del gasto en publicidad program\u00e1tica se destina a estos sitios de baja calidad<\/a>. En otras palabras, nuestros anuncios aparecen en webs terribles y parte de nuestro presupuesto se desperdicia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, los <a href=\"https:\/\/digiday.com\/media-buying\/doubleverify-report-ad-fraud-schemes-using-generative-ai-will-increase-in-scale-sophistication\/\">delincuentes est\u00e1n utilizando la IA para cometer fraudes publicitarios<\/a>. Crean personas falsas, clics falsos e interacciones falsas. Cada vez es m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil saber si nuestros anuncios llegan a clientes reales. Debemos <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dacgroup.com\/services\/strategy\/content-strategy\/\">crear contenido realmente \u00fatil<\/a>, original y basado en la experiencia. Cuenta historias reales, comparte datos aut\u00e9nticos. Eso es lo que la gente (y las buenas IAs) valora. Es necesario darle valor a cada contenido, e incluso utilizar un toque de humor para hacerlo m\u00e1s vivo y cercano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. <strong>Da valor a tus propios datos<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Los datos que recoges directamente de tus clientes, los <em>first-party data<\/em>, son como oro: limpios y totalmente reales. Util\u00edzalos <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dacgroup.com\/services\/analytics\/business-intelligence\/\">para comprender mejor a tu audiencia y entrenar tus propios modelos de IA a peque\u00f1a escala<\/a>. No dependas solo de los grandes modelos entrenados con el caos de internet: combina su capacidad de an\u00e1lisis con datos depurados y verificados. As\u00ed lograr\u00e1s un equilibrio inteligente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. <strong>Convi\u00e9rtete en un comprador de publicidad inteligente<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>No busques<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dacgroup.com\/services\/paid-media\/\"> solo impresiones baratas<\/a>. Es la forma m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida de acabar en sitios MFA. Colabora con editores de confianza. Haz una lista de webs en las que conf\u00edes y pide a tu plataforma publicitaria que solo muestre tus anuncios all\u00ed. Exige transparencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La era de la IA es apasionante, pero tambi\u00e9n tiene riesgos. Cuestionarla y prepararse para lo que viene no te convierte en un esc\u00e9ptico, sino en un profesional valioso para tu marca y tus clientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El colapso de modelo puede parecer un problema menor ahora, pero sus efectos crecen cada d\u00eda. Como profesionales del marketing, debemos entenderlo y adaptarnos. El futuro no ser\u00e1 de quien produzca m\u00e1s contenido con IA, sino de quien logre crear el contenido m\u00e1s confiable y aut\u00e9ntico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mi consejo: lidera con calidad y confianza. \u00bfEs mi redacci\u00f3n tan perfecta como la del modelo de IA m\u00e1s avanzado? Probablemente no. Pero la belleza de la experiencia humana est\u00e1 precisamente en la honestidad de nuestras imperfecciones y nuestra singularidad.
