Make It Rain has been acquired by the North American digital agency DAC<\/a>. DAC officially acquired Make It Rain \u2013 who will continue to operate under the same name \u2013 in April 2015. \"DAC\" DAC was founded in 1972 as a directional advertising agency. Since then, the group has grown to eight offices across North America. They offer high-level, client-focussed digital-marketing solutions with a strong technological focus. Celebrating its 43rd<\/sup> year DAC started life as a print-based directory agency that has continually diversified to maintain the standards expected from their clients. They are now one of the lead digital agencies in North America. They plan to bring this expertise to the UK and Europe by enhancing Make It Rain\u2019s service portfolio to deliver more localised targeting within the UK via access to the group\u2019s pre-existing technologies. CEO and Managing Partner, Norm Hagarty, who has been at the reigns since 2000 after joining the company in 1996, heads up the DAC. Joining DAC as President of Europe will be David Jowett who will head up operations in the group\u2019s first foray into Europe. \u00a0 Norm made the following statement regarding the acquisition:<\/p>\n

Mike Fantis and Luke Regan will retain on-the-ground operational control of Make It Rain\u2019s day-to-day. They will take up the roles of VP Managing Partners. The rest of the office will structurally remain much the same, with clients still communicating with their current points of contact.
