and questions, a development that Facebook\u2019s largest rival, Google, has responded to with a series of updates including <strong>Hummingbird, improved personalisation and accurate geographical search.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span> <span style=\"color: #7c7c7c;\">Facebook Graph Search gives us access to the immense mine of user-generated content that has been provided by us (blissfully unaware) over the past 8 years.\u00a0 <strong>It allows us to search in a more conversational manner<\/strong> and uses our <strong>personal preferences<\/strong> (what we\u2019ve liked) and those of our \u2018friends\u2019 to provide us with the most suitable results.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #7c7c7c;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #7c7c7c;\"><b>What\u2019s Different?<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #7c7c7c;\">Although Facebook Graph Search has been around for a good few months<\/span><span style=\"color: #7c7c7c;\">, the company made an announcement at the beginning of October telling us that the next phase was to be rolled out over the coming months.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #7c7c7c;\">This will enable us to search for specific posts, comments and statuses among those by\/from our friends, fans and those that are \u2018public\u2019. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span> <span style=\"color: #7c7c7c;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<section collection of public data will change the face of social media campaigning forever.\u00a0 <strong>Never before have marketers had access to such a goldmine of personal information.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #7c7c7c;\">The ability to track mentions and check-ins, along with Facebook\u2019s impending promise to improve its hashtag tracking system
