Senior Account Manager London, UK

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to develop, grow, and maintain profitable digital business by providing planning and optimal service to our client base by managing the day-to-day client relationship and delivery of digital projects.

You will utilise your experience to develop high quality client strategies and ensure they meet established KPIs. Through the intimate understanding of the client’s business and goals, you will also work to maximise sales opportunities for the breadth of DAC products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Senior Account Director and Managing Partners to grow digital revenue; Act as support on larger accounts and as account lead on smaller client engagements.
  • Provide clients with optimal online digital programs and identify revenue opportunities within the client base.
  • Introduce and position DAC’s Digital Products and service offerings and work with the Digital team to qualify each client’s digital opportunities.
  • Participate in new business proposals and presentations as necessary.
  • Remain knowledgeable about the on-going digital program activities after a digital program has been sold to ensure programs meet identified KPIs.
  • Develop productive business relationships and alliances with assigned DAC clients at the key decision making level including VP, Director levels.
  • Manage CRM tool setup (Daptiv) and data input.
  • Assist in the development of annual account plans that meet revenue growth and profit margin targets for assigned clients.
  • Manage client related expenses as budgeted while meeting client service level commitments.
  • Liaise internally with all internal agency departments (production, ops, media, strategy, etc.) to meet project requirements.
  • Delivery of outstanding service levels to all stakeholders
  • Innovation and evolution of approach to client campaigns
  • Helping the agency to deliver award winning work while enjoying significant personal growth.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 3-5 years in consultative account management with a focus on account growth and digital media experience, preferably working within a digital advertising agency.
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Knowledge of Google AdWords; Certification in Google AdWords Fundamentals, Advanced Fundamentals and Advanced Display required upon hiring or within first 6 months of employment.
  • Knowledge of other digital lead generation techniques (social media, search engine optimisation, programmatic display, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and desire for accuracy.
  • Good analytical skills, with the ability to see all the pieces and how each element fits together to create the entire program.
  • Ability to report on relevant data and able to relate results to client’s objectives.
  • A tenacious, positive person, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can easily manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and EQ, with the ability to develop positive relationships with internal teams as well as clients and prospects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Competency with MS Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • A high level of numeracy with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable presenting plans/ideas to external clients and internal stakeholders – ideally, professionally trained.
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge of digital products
  • Strong interest in marketing and digital technologies
  • Demonstrable understanding of consumer behaviour and marketing trends.
  • Great problem solving skills
