Paid Media Manager Edinburgh, SCT

The Paid Media Manager is responsible for developing, executing and managing paid media campaigns for DAC UK, demonstrating high levels of innovation and producing award-winning work. This individual will integrate with all agency departments and specifically, work very closely with our client service team to achieve excellent customer satisfaction and deliver superior performance.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out daily oversight and analysis of paid media campaigns for a variety of clients across multiple search engines and social platforms
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for campaign structuring, targeting, and other facets of paid search in accordance with client goals
  • Setup and manage paid search and social campaigns
  • Maintain and monitor keyword bids, budget caps, impression share, quality score and other key account metrics
  • Analyse automated budget pacing and refine campaigns appropriately
  • Implement automated bid strategies and monitor effectiveness
  • Deliver on weekly and monthly targets based on client KPIs
  • Generate weekly and monthly client insight and commentary
  • Keep up with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments
  • Providing paid media campaign input, feedback, insight and future recommendations
  • Manage the client test plan
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered with maximum performance, accuracy, efficiency, and meet agreed objectives.
  • Execute of optimisation process
  • Liaise with Google and other relevant publishers
  • Test new advertising features
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in paid media management
  • A degree in mathematics and/or statistics, is preferred
  • Experience using JavaScript and MySQL programming languages as well as Google scripts
  • A high level of numeracy with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Excel – pivot tables, VLOOKUP, IF statements
  • Strong communicator, comfortable presenting plans/ideas to external clients and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational, project management, problem solving skills
  • Demonstrable understanding of consumer behaviour and marketing trends
  • Good understanding of CRO & UX concepts/frameworks
  • Experience of using DoubleClick Search and Adobe Analytics
  • Google Data Studio, QLIK or Tableau exposure
  • Proficiency using online user interfaces, notably Google Analytics and Google Adwords Editor
  • Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
