Mario joined DAC Group in Montreal in 1991 as Account Director, and became Vice-President and General Manager of DAC’s Montreal office in 1993. In 1997, he took on the added role of Business Development for DAC Canada. Mario was appointed President of DAC Canada in 2000 and has led the 4 Canadian offices to new levels, in providing both print and online directional solutions to clients. Prior to joining DAC Group, Mario spent 8 years with Hertz Canada in several marketing, advertising and operational roles, culminating in his position as Marketing Manager in Toronto.
Mario recognized early the complimentary role of the Internet to the print Yellow Pages medium and has worked closely with publishers and service providers to develop online, lead generating solutions suited for the national and local advertisers. In addition, Mario is a strong advocate for national clients with Canadian directory publishers.
A native of Quebec City, Mario holds an Honors B.A. in Marketing from Laval University. He enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing and tennis and likes to spend time with his family.
