DAC Group Leads the Pack with Four Awards
at 2006 YPA Industry Excellence Awards Ceremony


New York (May 14, 2007) – DAC Group, one of the five largest agencies for national and regional Yellow Pages advertisers in North America, took home the top number of awards in the CMR (Certified Marketing Representative) designation at this year’s Excellence Awards Ceremony of the Yellow Pages Association (YPA) held recently in Las Vegas. DAC Group beat out tough competition from some of North America’s largest directional agencies.  This year, DAC Group won four awards in four different categories for CMRs.  YPA award recipients include publishers, marketers and associated companies that contribute to a $26-billion dollar industry, worldwide.

Progressive Drive Gold Award

At the beginning of May, the Yellow Pages Association (YPA) announced the winners of its annual Industry Excellence Awards in Las Vegas as part of YPA’s Annual Conference and Exhibition.  The theme this year was “Masters of Transformation.” 

In the National Advertiser Success Story – Electronic Products category, DAC Group was awarded gold for work done with AAMCO Transmissions for Internet Yellow Pages.  In the Process Innovation category, DAC Group won gold for work done with Progressive Insurance for the Drive brand roll-out.  DAC Group also won gold in the Community Service category for reaching out to more than 70 charitable organizations in local communities.  Lastly, DAC Group was awarded a bronze in the National Advertiser Success Story – Print Products category for work done with AAMCO Transmissions.
